In the year 2013, Peter Doig made quite the ethcing and aquatint masterpiece, Drunk and Disorderly. Doig used an extremely mellow colored pallet full of pinks, purples, and faint yellows. I find this piece very strange in a way it seems unnerving and quite chaotic. It is full of staggered lines and different use of contour lines. I think that the name of the piece Drunk and Disorderly is the perfect fit for the piece, becuase that is exactly how it looks.
